For 5 months we attempted to sell our villa with little to no activity with, what was in retrospect very poor pricing and marketing advice from our original real estate agent.

British Couple Nearly Waste Thousands on DIY Property Purchase in Spain |
Before we even considered selecting a Spanish estate agent, my wife and I thought we would do it all ourselves. We had it all figured out - We did our internet research, narrowed down where we wanted to buy and found the "perfect" place almost immediately, or so we thought.
However, just before we were due to go to private purchase contract we thought that we had better get a quick second opinion on the property, so cheekily we contacted a local estate agent Quicksell and spoke to Paul the owner, who was extremely professional and surprisingly very willing to help us, even though there was absolutely nothing in it for him or his company financially.
He recommended a full diagnostic property survey so we had one done and are we glad we did because this turned out to be the best decision we could have made, as it turned out our "perfect" home had some pretty serious trouble with the foundations, so we pulled out of the purchase, thank god!
After making such a silly mistake we thought that we had better use a professional to find our new Spanish home, so we asked Quicksell to find us a property, which they did within a week and not only was it bigger than the property we had originally considered, it was also much cheaper, not to mention in tip top condition.
We certainly couldn't have done this without Paul and Quicksell and can't recommend him or his company highly enough. So f you're looking for an estate agent that’s going to go that extra mile then we strongly recommend that you use Quicksell, we’re certainly glad we did in more ways than one.
